Privacy policy
This notice explains what personal data this website processes, why, and which rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
This website belongs to LuckyFoxCode, who is responsible for the personal data processed here (the controller).
What data we collect and why
You can read this site without telling us who you are. Apart from the web analytics described below, it collects personal data only when you use the contact form.
The contact form asks for your name, email address, the kind of inquiry and your message. Sending it opens your own email program with the message filled in: nothing leaves your device until you send that email yourself, and the site does not store what you typed.
We use these details only to answer you. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take and our legitimate interest in replying to messages (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with your inquiry.
Content from Twitch and other platforms
While the channel is live, the home page shows a Twitch player card. The player loads from Twitch only when you press play, so Twitch receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies only after that.
Pictures that come from Twitch, such as the channel picture and video thumbnails, are fetched by this site’s server and shown from this site’s own address; your browser does not contact Twitch for them.
Links to Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Telegram and other platforms take you there only when you click them. What those platforms do with your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
Who processes data for us
cms-craft, the provider that builds and hosts this website and its content management system, processes data on our behalf and only on our instructions. Its servers keep technical logs of requests and errors (for example which page was requested and whether it loaded) to keep the site running and secure.
Web analytics (Umami)
When web analytics are switched on for this site, we use Umami, open-source web analytics, to see how visitors use it. It runs on servers operated by cms-craft, the provider that builds and hosts this website and processes this data on our behalf; nothing is passed to advertising or analytics companies.
The script loads only after you allow analytics in the cookie dialog, then talks only to this site’s own address, which forwards your IP address and browser identification (user agent) to Umami. We record the pages you view (the full address, including URL parameters, and the page title), the referring page, browser, operating system and device type, screen size, language, approximate location (country, region, city), anonymous page-speed measurements and clicks on links to other websites (only the target site’s name).
Umami uses the IP address only to work out the approximate location and to compute an anonymous visit identifier that changes regularly; it does not store the IP address and sets no cookies.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; nothing is recorded after that. We do not use the data for advertising and never sell it. The statistics are deleted after 25 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to it, and to receive it in a portable format.
To use these rights, contact us through the contact details on this site.
You can also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, in particular the one in the EU country where you live.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie it may set is the strictly necessary NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language you chose and is deleted when you close your browser. Your light or dark theme is kept in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device. The Twitch player, when it is shown, follows Twitch’s own cookie policy. Your choice in the cookie dialog is kept in your browser’s local storage for 12 months, so the site does not ask again on every visit.
